Aged in repurposed Jamaican rum barrels, this BA Imperial oatmeal stout is extremely rich and complex. On the nose you experience warming scents of sweet rum, vanilla and molasses. On the pallet there is a lot of depth in flavour – smooth brown sugar / molasses, caramel, toasted oak, black coffee, light vanilla, toasted marshmallow, with a slightly warm finish.

As this beer is a big one, we’re selling them as 12-packs (feel free to buy more). Ideal drinking temp is 6-12*C

Description

A fierce and powerful creature was the Black Boar. This huge beast played a massive role in shaping ancient Irish history. Famously the Black Boar killed, and was killed by Diarmuid the warrior while he answered the challenge of his arch-rival Fionn Mac Cumhaill on the mountain of Benbulben in County Sligo.

The Black Boar has come to represent resilience. Fitting then that The White Hag’s ever-growing Black Boar family, is represented by the name of one of ancient Ireland’s most notorious icons.
