The team who brought the brewery to fruition was assembled from a purposeful process of bringing together the necessary skills to set up and run a professional craft brewery, and encompasses a broad range of skills, interests and passions. The initial team sought out Joe as the first full time employee, bringing him on board as a founder. The founding team have gradually joined the workforce as the brewery has evolved.
Our team is growing all the time, and we’re lucky to have a diverse range of skillsets and backgrounds that combine to create a brilliant brewery team. While our role is primarily production and sales of beer here in the brewery, the team get out to events as much as possible to meet our trade, punters and see what everyone else is at.
We’re also home to a unique crowd funded barrel-aging programme of over 40,000 litres of specially brewed beer on oak.
As a skilled industry, we place a huge emphasis on work experience and vocational internships. Hands on learning and experience is essential for a fully rounded skill set in this industry, and we have all benefited from the knowledge gained and gleaned from those who we have worked for and with, alongside formal academic education.
