We’re hosting our annual Samhain Winter Beer Celebration in the brewery, October 26th 2019! Last year was the first year of our Samhain, and while it was a great experience, running over multiple nights with each night tied to a collaboration with another brewery, we’ve decided to bring the event home to Sligo for a one day taproom style event. We don’t have a taproom (yet) and we’re not located in the middle of a large town or city. What we do have is a train station which stops on our doorstep and can cater to both the Sligo and Dublin populations. We also know that we can pull off a party in the brewery with the likes of HAGSTRAVAGANZA…
So with that in mind, we’re marrying the two ideas where we celebrate our winter beers in the brewery whilst also testing out the brewery for smaller groups with a more personal feeling and experience with our team and our beers. It’s an excuse for a Saturday session is what we’re saying!!

These are some of the first steps we’re taking to improve our ability to host groups at the brewery on a more regular basis, with the long term goal of opening up a proper taproom on site. Samhain will be a 150 person event which allows those visiting for the day to have a more intimate experience with the brewery and the team. We’ll be pouring 10 taps of The White Hag’s beer, including two collaboration beers; there’ll be 3 free tours on the brew house itself, DJ’s, pizza, cornhole and plenty of fun… we’ll also be hosting the charity partner from Hagstravaganza for a cheque presentation and some of those who helped out over the event are coming along as guests.

Tickets for the day event ate only €10 which also entitle you to 3 free drinks… in essence we just need to know our numbers in advance, there’s no real cost to being here. After that all beer will be €3.50 and we’ll also have a supply of The White Hag’s finest craft beer cans which you can purchase on your way out for take home.

You should check out the train timetables for more information on getting to the brewery by using the Dublin/Sligo train route here. You can also drive, but please do not drink and drive, and do not rely on leaving your car overnight at the brewery.

Tickets available on Eventbrite which can be found by using the link here. Tickets are going fast and so we recommend you book them now!
